Purpose:
I am doing this little experiment. I want to see what is
the most efficient weight loss method: treadmill, stair
master, or running outside. I will compare each method
with itself and with each other and try to see what my
results yield.
Background
Info: To compare apples to apples, I must set
the weight input to the same weight on both the
treadmill and stair master. The weight will also stay
the same each time I increase the MPH
on the treadmill and the level on the stair master.
Furthermore, I am trying to get a good range of MPHs for
the treadmill and levels for the stair master by
selecting six different MPHs and levels, which are the
ranges I usually bounce back and forth with. I chose the
range of MPHs and Levels, because they seem to be
standard to challenging for most people. Running
outside will be the most difficult to compare, being
that I do not have anything to calculate calories with
or MPH (even though I could calculate the miles per hour
by how long it takes me to run the two miles outside. I
might do that, when I start working on that section of
this experiment). Therefore, right now, I will simply
see if I can achieve a faster time than the previous
day, once I get to that section and will also compare
how long it takes me to run outside versus on the
treadmill and stair master. |
